2.1 Pre-Installation Check

2.2 Installation Steps
- Remove Existing Lock: Carefully remove your current deadbolt lock from the door.
- Install Latch: Insert the new latch into the door edge, ensuring it is flush with the door.
- Install Exterior Assembly: Route the cable from the exterior unit through the door hole and position the exterior keypad panel.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the door, ensuring the cable passes through correctly. Do not overtighten screws.
- Connect Interior Assembly: Connect the cable from the exterior unit to the interior assembly. Ensure the thumb turn is in the vertical position before attaching.
- Secure Interior Assembly: Attach the interior assembly to the mounting plate using the provided screws.
- Install Batteries: Insert the four AA alkaline batteries into the interior unit.
- Hand the Lock: Press and hold the reset button on the interior unit for 5 seconds to initiate the handing process. This calibrates the lock to your door's orientation.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Unlocking the Door
- Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the biometric scanner. The lock will recognize your fingerprint in approximately 0.3 seconds and unlock.
- PIN Code: Wake up the touchscreen keypad by placing your palm over it. Enter your registered PIN code followed by the checkmark (✓) button.
- Mechanical Key: In case of battery depletion or other issues, use the provided mechanical key to unlock the deadbolt.
- One-Time PIN Code: Generate unique, single-use access codes for guests or service providers. These codes expire after one use.

3.2 Locking the Door
- Auto-Lock: Customize the auto-lock timer (30-180 seconds) to automatically lock the door after a set period once it has been closed.
Note: The door lock does not detect whether the door is closed. To ensure proper auto-locking, the door must be shut manually first. If the door is left open, the bolt will still extend; this is not a product malfunction.
- One-Touch Lock: Simply press and hold any number on the keypad for 2 seconds, and the lock will engage immediately.
