This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Gloryes 3-Channel Dash Cam. This device is designed to record video footage from the front, interior, and rear of your vehicle, offering enhanced security and evidence in various driving scenarios. Setup

1. Inserting the SD Card

Locate the SD card slot on the dash cam. Gently insert the provided 32GB SD card until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly to avoid damage.

2. Mounting the Dash Cam

Choose between the suction mount or adhesive mount based on your preference and vehicle's windshield. Clean the windshield surface thoroughly before applying the mount. Attach the dash cam to the chosen mount, ensuring it is securely fastened and does not obstruct your view.

3. Connecting the Power and Rear Camera

Connect the car charger to your vehicle's 12V power outlet and the dash cam. Route the charging cable neatly along the windshield and dashboard using the provided cable management tools. Connect the rear camera cable to the main dash cam unit and route it to the rear of your vehicle. The rear camera is waterproof and can be mounted on the rear window or above the license plate.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when connected to power and the vehicle ignition is turned on. To manually power off, press and hold the power button.

2. Button Functions

The dash cam features user-friendly buttons on the right side for easy operation:

  • Power Button: Press to pause recording. Long press to enter photo mode.
  • M Button: Press to enter the settings interface. Long press in photo mode to enter video playback.
  • Up/Down Arrows: Navigate through menu options. In recording mode, press to switch camera view combinations (Front, Front+Rear, Front+Inside, Picture-in-Picture).

3. Recording Methods & Resolution

The dash cam supports multiple recording configurations:

  • Only Front Dash Cam: 2.5K/1440P resolution.
  • Front and Rear: 1080P (Front) + 720P (Rear).
  • Front and Inside: 1080P (Front) + 720P (Interior).
  • Front, Inside, and Rear: 1080P (Front) + 720P (Interior) + 720P (Rear).

4. Night Vision & WDR

The dash cam is equipped with 4 infrared LEDs around the interior camera for clear night vision. WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology automatically optimizes video quality for both day and night recordings, ensuring balanced exposure in varying light conditions.

5. Seamless Loop Recording

When the SD card is full, the dash cam will automatically overwrite the oldest video files with new recordings, ensuring continuous operation without manual intervention. Video segments are typically 1, 2, or 3 minutes long.

6. G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden shocks or collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical incident footage is preserved.

7. Parking Monitor

With the parking monitor feature, the dash cam can record events even when your vehicle is parked. It supports 1-second lightning start recording to capture incidents like vandalism or hit-and-runs. A USB-C Port Hardwire Kit (not included) is needed for 24/7 parking monitoring.

8. Data Transfer

You can transfer recorded videos to your computer using two methods:

  • SD Card Transmission: Remove the SD card and use a card reader to connect to your computer.
  • Dash Cam Transmission: Directly connect the dash cam to your computer via USB cable (after detaching from the bracket) to export videos.

Maintenance

  • Regularly format the SD card (at least once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
  • Keep the camera lenses clean using a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive materials.
  • Ensure the dash cam is securely mounted to prevent vibrations affecting video quality.
  • Operate the dash cam within the recommended temperature range (-4°F to 140°F) to ensure longevity.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dash cam does not power on. No power, faulty connection, or dead battery. Check car charger connection. Ensure vehicle ignition is on. Charge the dash cam battery.
Recording stops unexpectedly. SD card full, card error, or G-sensor triggered. Format the SD card. Replace the SD card if corrupted. Check G-sensor sensitivity settings.
Video footage is blurry/unclear. Dirty lens, protective film on lens, or improper focus. Clean the camera lens. Remove any protective film. Ensure the dash cam is securely mounted to minimize vibration.
Rear/Interior camera not working. Loose connection or faulty camera. Check the cable connection between the main unit and the auxiliary camera.
Buttons unresponsive. System freeze. Use the reset needle (if applicable) to perform a soft reset.
