5. Setup and Installation

The camera can be surface mounted. Follow these general steps for installation. Specific vehicle requirements may vary.

  1. Choose Installation Location: Decide whether to install the camera as a front or rear-view camera. Common locations include above the license plate or integrated into the vehicle's trim.

6. Operating Instructions

  • CVBS/AHD 1080P Switch (Blue Line):
    To switch between CVBS and AHD 1080P video output, cut the blue line. This allows compatibility with different monitor types. Ensure your monitor supports the selected format.
  • Front/Rear View Switch (Green Line):
    To change the camera's orientation between front view and rear view (mirror image), cut the green line. This is useful if you want to use the camera for both front and rear applications.
  • Ruler Line Switching (White Line):
    To enable or disable the parking assistance ruler lines on the display, cut the white line. This provides flexibility for users who prefer or do not prefer the overlay.

Note: Cutting these lines is a permanent change. Ensure you understand the desired function before cutting.
