Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
The dash cam powers on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on and powers off when the ignition is turned off.
Recording
Upon powering on, the dash cam will automatically begin recording. Footage is saved to the installed memory card.
Loop Recording
When the memory card reaches its full capacity, the dash cam will automatically overwrite the oldest unlocked video files to continue recording. This ensures continuous operation without manual intervention.
G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)
The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. These locked files are stored in a separate folder on the memory card.
Wi-Fi and Mobile App Usage
To access, download, edit, and share your dash cam footage, connect your smartphone to the dash cam via Wi-Fi using the dedicated mobile application.
- Wi-Fi Connection: Download the official Fitcamx app from your smartphone's app store. Turn on the dash cam and enable Wi-Fi on your phone. Connect to the dash cam's Wi-Fi network (SSID and password typically found in the manual or on the device).
- Download Video: Once connected, open the app to browse recorded videos. Select desired clips and download them to your phone's gallery.
- Preview Video: Stream live footage or review recorded videos directly through the app.
- Edit Video: The app may offer basic editing functions such as trimming or cropping video segments.
