4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the sunglasses. Connect the provided charger cable to the charging/data port on the sunglasses and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter). 4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power/Bluetooth button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.

5.1 Bluetooth Operation

  • Pairing:
    1. Ensure the sunglasses are powered off.
    2. Press and hold the Power/Bluetooth button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly (usually blue and red alternately), indicating pairing mode.
    3. On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "KL-24-81" (or similar name).
    4. Once paired, the indicator light will flash slowly or turn solid blue.
  • Answering/Ending Calls: When a call comes in, press the Power/Bluetooth button once to answer. Press it again to end the call.
  • Playing Music: After pairing, audio from your device will play through the integrated earphones. Use your device to control playback (play/pause, skip tracks).

5.2 Video Recording

The sunglasses can record 1080P HD video.

  • Start Recording: With the sunglasses powered on, press the Photo/Video button once. The indicator light will change (e.g., from solid blue to flashing blue) to indicate recording has started.
  • Stop Recording: Press the Photo/Video button again. The indicator light will return to its standby state.

5.3 Taking Photos

The sunglasses can capture 5MP still images.

  • Take Photo: With the sunglasses powered on and not recording video, press and hold the Photo/Video button for approximately 2 seconds. The indicator light will flash briefly to confirm a photo has been taken.

5.4 Indicator Light Status

The indicator light provides visual feedback on the device's status:

  • Solid Blue: Device is powered on and in standby mode.
  • Flashing Blue: Video recording in progress.
  • Red (Solid/Flashing): Charging status or low battery.
  • Alternating Blue/Red: Bluetooth pairing mode.

6. Charging and Data Transfer

6.1 Charging the Battery

The sunglasses are equipped with a 220mA high-capacity lithium polymer battery. Charging time is approximately 2 hours.

  • Connect the provided USB cable to the charging port on the sunglasses.
  • Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power source (DC-5V).
  • The indicator light will typically show red during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.

6.2 Connecting to a Computer (Data Transfer)

The sunglasses have a built-in 32GB storage space (note: product description mentions 8GB, but title states 32GB; assume 32GB for manual). To access recorded files:

  • Ensure the sunglasses are powered off.
  • Connect the sunglasses to your computer using the provided USB cable.

7. Maintenance

  • Water Resistance: The device is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to rain, splashes, or submersion in water.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a charger and try again.
  • Cannot connect via Bluetooth:
    1. Ensure the sunglasses are in pairing mode (alternating blue/red indicator).
    2. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it's within the 10-meter transmission range.
    3. Try restarting both the sunglasses and your Bluetooth device.
  • Video recording not working:
