1. Product Overview
The oleap Pilot P100b is an open-ear Bluetooth headset designed for clear communication and comfortable wear. It features advanced noise-canceling technology for calls, a flexible boom microphone, and a lightweight design suitable for extended use.

1.1 Package Contents
Ensure all items are present in your package:

1.2 Controls and Components

- Power Key: Press and hold for 3 seconds to power on/off. Press and hold for 5 seconds when powered off to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Volume -: Click to decrease volume. Long press for previous song.
- Volume +: Click to increase volume. Long press for next song.
- Mute Key: Click to mute/unmute the microphone during a call. When muted, you will hear "MUTED" from the headset. This button can also access your phone's voice assistant.
- Rotatable Microphone (270°): Adjust the boom microphone for optimal voice pickup during calls or recording. Ensure it is positioned near your mouth.
- USB-C Charging Port: Located on the control module for charging the headset.
2. Setup
2.1 Charging the Headset
Before first use, fully charge your oleap Pilot P100b headset.
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the USB-C port on the headset.
- Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
- The LED indicator on the headset will show charging status. It typically takes 1 hour for a full charge, providing up to 16 hours of listening or 10 hours of talk time. A 10-minute quick charge provides approximately 5 hours of talk time.

2.2 Bluetooth Pairing
To connect your headset to a device:
- Ensure the headset is powered off.
- Press and hold the Power Key for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, computer, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "oleap Pilot P100b" from the list of found devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
The headset supports Bluetooth 5.0 and has a range of up to 15 meters (49 feet).
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power Key for 3 seconds.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power Key for 3 seconds.
3.2 Call Management
- Answer/End Call: Click the Power Key once.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Power Key for 2 seconds.
- Mute/Unmute Microphone: Click the Mute Key once during an active call. You will hear an audible "MUTED" notification when activated.

3.3 Audio Playback
- Play/Pause: Click the Power Key once.
- Volume Up: Click the Volume + button.
- Volume Down: Click the Volume - button.
- Next Track: Long press the Volume + button.
- Previous Track: Long press the Volume - button.
3.4 Voice Assistant
To activate your device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant), long press the Mute Key when not on a call.
3.5 Noise Cancellation Features
The oleap Pilot P100b features advanced Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) technology, utilizing a 3-piece ECM microphone array to reduce ambient noise by up to 50dB during calls. This ensures your voice is heard clearly even in noisy environments.

3.6 Wearing the Headset
The open-ear design of the Pilot P100b allows you to remain aware of your surroundings while enjoying audio. The flexible neckband and ear hooks provide a secure and comfortable fit without pressing on your ears or causing irritation.

4. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your oleap Pilot P100b headset:
- Cleaning: Wipe the headset with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Water Resistance: The headset is rated as Waterproof (IPX5). While it can withstand splashes and sweat, avoid submerging it in water.
5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your oleap Pilot P100b, refer to the following common solutions:
- Headset not powering on: Ensure the headset is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and try again.
- Unable to pair with device:
- Ensure the headset is in pairing mode (LED flashes red and blue).
- Turn off and on Bluetooth on your device.
- Move the headset closer to your device.
- Clear previous Bluetooth connections on your device and try pairing again.
- No sound or low volume:
- Check the volume levels on both the headset and your connected device.
- Ensure the headset is properly connected to your device.
- If using a dongle, ensure it is correctly plugged in and recognized by your computer.
- Microphone not working:
- Ensure the microphone boom is positioned correctly near your mouth.
- Check if the microphone is muted (click the Mute Key to unmute).
- Verify microphone settings on your connected device.
- Intermittent connection:
- Ensure you are within the 15-meter Bluetooth range.
- Avoid obstacles between the headset and your device that may interfere with the signal.
- Restart both the headset and your connected device.
