5. Maintenance and Care

5.1 Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant up to 5 ATM (50 meters). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or showering with hot water, as steam can penetrate the seals.

  • Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water.
  • Do not operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged.

5.2 Leather Strap Care

The leather strap is a natural material and requires proper care to maintain its appearance and longevity.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture.
  • If the strap gets wet, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and allow it to air dry naturally, away from direct heat.
  • Clean the strap periodically with a damp cloth and mild soap, then wipe dry. Do not use harsh chemicals.

5.3 General Cleaning

To clean the watch case and crystal, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh cleaning agents.
