7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your electric fireplace. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sprays.
  • Air Vents: Periodically check and clean the air vents to ensure they are free from dust and debris, which can impede airflow and cause overheating.
  • Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your fireplace, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded electrical outlet. Check your household circuit breaker or fuse box.
  • No Heat: Verify that the heater function is activated and the temperature setting is higher than the ambient room temperature. Check if the overheat protection has been triggered (unplug, wait 10-15 minutes, then plug back in).
  • Flame Effect Not Working: Ensure the unit is powered on. If only the flame effect is not working, check if it has been accidentally turned off via the flame control button.
  • Remote Control Not Working: Check and replace the AAA batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fireplace's sensor.

If problems persist after attempting these steps, please contact customer support.
