2. Safety Information

Important Safety Precautions:

  • Always add approximately 800 ml of distilled water before each sterilization cycle. Using tap water can lead to mineral buildup and damage the unit.
  • Connect the autoclave to a separate electrical socket. Ensure the socket's output voltage matches the device's requirements (AC110V; 60±1Hz).
  • If the pressure gauge pointer enters the red area, immediately open the exhaust steam needle valve to release pressure.
  • Do not open the sterilizer door until the pressure gauge reads zero and all steam has been safely exhausted.
  • Operate the device within the specified ambient temperature range of 5-40℃.
  • Keep hands and face away from the steam exhaust during operation and depressurization.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the unit during operation.

3. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present in the package:

  3. Load Items: Place the items to be sterilized onto the trays and then into the chamber.
  4. Close Door: Close the door cover securely.
  5. Tighten Exhaust Valve: Tighten the steam exhaust valve by turning it clockwise.
  6. Set Timer: Turn the timer knob to the '121' position. The power light will illuminate, indicating the start of the sterilization process.
  7. Sterilization Complete: Once the sterilization cycle is finished (after approximately 25 minutes at 121℃), the unit will automatically stop heating.
  8. Depressurization: Before opening the door, ensure the pressure gauge pointer is at zero. To release steam, open the release valve (turn counter-clockwise) and allow all steam and water to exhaust.
  9. Remove Items: Once depressurized and cooled, open the door and carefully remove the sterilized items using the plate removal tool.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and proper functioning of your autoclave:

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the interior of the chamber and trays with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Water Quality: Always use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup, which can affect heating efficiency and damage components.
  • Gasket Inspection: Periodically inspect the door gasket for any signs of wear, cracks, or damage. A damaged gasket can lead to steam leaks.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, ensure the unit is clean, dry, and stored in a cool, dry place.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
