Step-by-Step Cleaning Process:

Prepare the Steamer: Place your facial steamer on a towel.
Add Solution and Water: Pour 1 capful of the descaler solution into the steamer's water reservoir. Fill the reservoir with distilled water up to the manufacturer's suggested amount.
Run Cleaning Cycle: Angle the machine head upward, if adjustable. Run the facial steamer on a normal cycle. Note that the cleaning solution may spurt during this process as it is not 100% converted to steam.
Clean Reservoir: After the cycle, rub the inside of the water reservoir with a cloth to remove any remaining build-up. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly with running water until the water runs clear.
Final Rinse Cycle: Refill the reservoir with distilled water and run the facial steamer on a normal cycle again to rinse out any remaining cleaner.
