3.1 Soundbar Unit

4.2 Connecting the Subwoofer (Wireless Pairing)

The subwoofer is designed to pair automatically with the soundbar. Follow these steps:

  1. Connect the power cable to the subwoofer and plug it into a power outlet. The subwoofer's indicator light will typically blink, indicating it's searching for the soundbar.
  2. Connect the power adapter to the soundbar and plug it into a power outlet.
  3. Power on the soundbar.
  4. The subwoofer's indicator light should turn solid, indicating a successful wireless connection with the soundbar. If not, refer to the Troubleshooting section for manual pairing instructions.

4.3 Connecting to Audio Sources

Choose one of the following methods to connect your soundbar to your audio source (e.g., TV, DVD player, smartphone).

4.3.1 HDMI ARC (Recommended)

HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) allows audio to be sent from your TV to the soundbar using a single HDMI cable, and often allows your TV remote to control the soundbar's volume.

  1. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your soundbar.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
  3. Turn on your TV and soundbar. Select the HDMI ARC input on the soundbar using the remote or soundbar controls.
  4. Ensure HDMI ARC is enabled in your TV's audio settings.

4.3.2 Optical Input

The optical connection provides high-quality digital audio.

  1. Connect an optical cable from the OPTICAL OUT port on your TV (or other audio source) to the OPTICAL IN port on your soundbar.
  2. Turn on your TV and soundbar. Select the OPTICAL input on the soundbar.
  3. Ensure your TV's audio output is set to "PCM" or "Stereo" if you experience no sound.

4.3.3 AUX Input

Use an AUX cable for analog audio connections.

  1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable from the AUDIO OUT (headphone jack) or AUX OUT port on your device to the AUX IN port on your soundbar.
  2. Turn on your device and soundbar. Select the AUX input on the soundbar.

4.3.4 Bluetooth Connection

Connect your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device wirelessly.

  1. Power on the soundbar and select the Bluetooth input. The soundbar's display will typically show "BT" and blink, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "Telefunken Soundbar" (or similar name) from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the soundbar's Bluetooth indicator will stop blinking and remain solid. You can now play audio from your device through the soundbar.

4.3.5 USB Playback

Play audio files directly from a USB storage device.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive (formatted to FAT32) containing compatible audio files into the USB port on the soundbar.
  2. Select the USB input on the soundbar. The soundbar will automatically begin playing audio files from the USB drive.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the POWER button on the soundbar or remote control to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Input Selection

Press the INPUT button on the soundbar or remote control repeatedly to cycle through available input sources: HDMI ARC, OPTICAL, AUX, BLUETOOTH, USB.

5.3 Volume Control

Press the VOL+ or VOL- buttons on the soundbar or remote control to adjust the master volume.

Press the MUTE button on the remote control to temporarily silence the audio. Press it again to restore sound.

5.4 Bass Control
