3.1 Charging the Camera

Before initial use, fully charge the camera's internal battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the cable to the camera's charging port and a standard 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status.

3.2 App Installation and Account Creation

  1. Download the companion app from your smartphone's app store (compatible with Android and iPhone). Search for "O-Kam" or refer to the QR code in the quick start guide.
  2. Open the app and create a new account. Follow the on-screen instructions to register.

3.4 Physical Installation

Choose a suitable outdoor location for installation, ensuring good Wi-Fi signal and direct sunlight exposure for the solar panel. The camera is designed for wall mounting.

  1. Mark the drilling points using the mounting bracket as a template.
  2. Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
  3. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall with screws.
  4. Attach the camera to the mounting bracket and adjust the angle for optimal viewing.

4.1 Live View and PTZ Control

Open the app and select your camera to access the live view. Use the on-screen controls to pan (horizontal rotation), tilt (vertical rotation), and zoom (8x optical zoom) the camera to monitor different areas.
