5. Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
The units power on automatically when removed from the charging case. To power off, place them back into the charging case or long-press the power button on each unit.
Mode Selection (Mono/Stereo)
The WEC Kit2 supports both Mono and Stereo recording modes. Refer to the user manual for specific button presses to switch between these modes based on your recording needs.
Gain Adjustment
Adjust the 6-level gain setting on the microphone to optimize audio input levels for different environments and sound sources. This helps prevent clipping and ensures clear recordings.
Noise Reduction
Activate the intelligent noise reduction feature to minimize background noise, especially useful in noisy environments. This can be toggled on/off as needed.
Using Furry Windscreens
For outdoor recording or in windy conditions, attach the provided furry windscreens to the transmitters. These effectively reduce wind noise and plosives, improving audio clarity.

- Verify that any necessary adapters (Lightning/Type-C) are compatible and functioning correctly.
- Charging Issues:
- Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to the charging case and a power source.
- Check the digital display on the charging case for battery status.
- Important: Remove any protective plastic film from the charging contacts on the transmitters and receiver before placing them in the case.
- Interference/Dropped Connection:
- Ensure you are within the 200m operating range.
- Minimize obstacles between the transmitter and receiver.
- Avoid areas with strong 2.4GHz wireless interference.
