3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the lock box.
  2. Insert 4 AAA alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: Only alkaline batteries are recommended for optimal performance and longevity. Rechargeable batteries may not provide sufficient power.

3.2 Mounting Options

The LOQRON Smart Key Lock Box offers two mounting options:

3.2.1 Door Hanging Installation

  1. Attach the removable shackle to the top of the lock box.
  2. Hang the lock box securely over a door knob, fence, or other suitable fixture.
  3. Ensure the shackle is properly closed and locked.

3.2.2 Wall-Mounted Installation

  1. Choose a suitable wall location.
  2. Mark the drilling points using the lock box as a template.
  3. Drill holes and insert wall anchors.
  4. Secure the lock box to the wall using the provided screws.
  5. Use the silicon hole plugs to cover the screw holes for weather protection.

3.3 App Pairing and Initial Setup

  1. Download the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Create an account or log in.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  4. In the app, select "Add Device" and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your LOQRON Smart Key Lock Box.
  5. Once paired, you can set up fingerprints, passcodes, and access cards through the app. Refer to the app's specific instructions for detailed steps on adding users and credentials.

Note: For remote access functionality beyond Bluetooth range, a Tuya Gateway (sold separately) is required. Follow the gateway's instructions for pairing with your lock box and network.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Unlocking Methods

4.1.1 Fingerprint Unlock

  • Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor.
  • The lock box will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.

4.1.2 Passcode Unlock

  • Enter your registered passcode on the keypad.
  • Press the lock icon (or designated confirmation key) to confirm.
  • The lock box will unlock if the passcode is correct.

Anti-Peep Passcode: To enhance security, you can enter random digits before or after your actual passcode. For example, if your passcode is "7897967", you can enter "1237897967321". The lock box will still recognize the correct sequence within the longer input.

4.1.3 Access Card Unlock

  • Tap a registered access card against the designated card reader area on the lock box.
  • The lock box will unlock if the card is recognized.

4.1.4 App Unlock (Bluetooth)

  • Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled and you are within range of the lock box.
  • Open the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app.
  • Select your lock box from the device list and tap the unlock button within the app.

4.1.5 Remote App Unlock (with Tuya Gateway)

  • Ensure your Tuya Gateway is properly set up and connected to your home network.
  • Open the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app from any location with internet access.
  • Select your lock box from the device list and tap the unlock button within the app. The command will be relayed through the gateway.

4.2 Locking the Lock Box

To lock the LOQRON Smart Key Lock Box, simply close the lid firmly. The lock box will automatically secure itself.

4.3 Emergency Power Supply

If the batteries are completely depleted, or if no batteries are installed, the lock box can be temporarily powered using a USB power bank.

  1. Connect a USB power bank to the USB port on the lock box using the provided USB cable.
  2. Once powered, you can use any of the registered unlocking methods (fingerprint, passcode, access card, or Bluetooth app) to open the lock box.
  3. After opening, replace the internal AAA batteries immediately.

Important: The USB port is for emergency power-up only and does not charge the internal batteries.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Replacement

When the battery level is low, the app will display a warning, and the lock box may indicate low power during operation. Replace all 4 AAA alkaline batteries promptly to ensure continuous functionality.

  1. Open the lock box.
  2. Locate the battery compartment.
  3. Remove the old batteries and dispose of them according to local regulations.
  4. Insert new 4 AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the lock box with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish and electronic components. Ensure the fingerprint sensor and keypad are clean for optimal performance.

5.3 Environmental Considerations

The lock box is rated IP55, providing protection against dust and low-pressure water jets. It is designed to operate within a temperature range of -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C). While robust, prolonged exposure to extreme weather conditions or direct heavy rainfall is not recommended and may affect performance or longevity.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Lock Box Does Not Open

  • Check Batteries: Ensure the batteries are not depleted. Use the emergency USB power supply if necessary, then replace the internal batteries.
  • Incorrect Credentials: Verify that the fingerprint, passcode, or access card used is correctly registered and entered.
  • Fingerprint Sensor Issues: Ensure your finger and the sensor are clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if issues persist.
  • App Connectivity: For app unlocking, ensure Bluetooth is enabled and you are within range. If using a Tuya Gateway, verify its internet connection and pairing.

6.2 App Cannot Connect to Lock Box

  • Bluetooth Range: Ensure your smartphone is within Bluetooth range (typically 10-15 meters) of the lock box.
  • Bluetooth Enabled: Confirm Bluetooth is active on your smartphone.
  • App Permissions: Check if the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app has necessary Bluetooth and location permissions.
  • Restart App/Phone: Close and reopen the app, or restart your smartphone.
  • Battery Level: Low battery in the lock box can affect Bluetooth connectivity.

6.3 Lock Box Not Responding

  • Emergency Power: Connect a USB power bank to the emergency USB port to check if the issue is battery-related.
  • Environmental Factors: Extreme temperatures or moisture can affect electronics. Ensure the lock box is within its operating temperature range and protected from excessive moisture.
