3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Charging the Controller

  1. Connect the micro-USB end of the charging cable (not included, typically a standard micro-USB cable) to the charging port on the top of the controller (refer to Figure 2.3).
  2. Connect the USB-A end of the charging cable to a powered USB port (e.g., console, PC, USB wall adapter).
  3. The LED indicator on the controller will illuminate to show charging status. It will typically change color or turn off when fully charged. A full charge provides approximately 5 hours of playtime.

3.2 Connecting to a Device (Wireless)

The controller uses a 2.4 GHz wireless connection via the included USB receiver.

  1. Insert the USB Receiver: Plug the provided USB receiver into an available USB port on your desired device (Xbox One console, PS3 console, PC, or Android device via an OTG adapter if necessary).
  2. Power On Controller: Press the Home button (center button with house icon) on the controller to power it on.
  3. Pairing: The controller should automatically attempt to pair with the USB receiver. The LED indicator on the controller will flash during pairing and become solid once a successful connection is established.
  4. Device Recognition: Your device should recognize the controller. For PC, drivers may install automatically. For Android, ensure your device supports external controllers.

Note: For optimal performance, ensure the controller and USB receiver are within a reasonable range and free from significant obstructions.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Controls

The controller features standard gamepad controls:

  • Left Analog Stick: Movement, navigation.
  • Right Analog Stick: Camera control, aiming.
  • D-Pad: Directional input, menu navigation.
  • Action Buttons (A, B, X, Y): Context-sensitive actions in games.
  • Shoulder Buttons (L1, R1): Various in-game actions.
  • Triggers (L2, R2): Analog input for acceleration, braking, shooting, etc.
  • Select Button: Typically for menu access or specific game functions.
  • Start Button: Typically for pausing games or menu access.

4.2 Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows a button to be repeatedly pressed automatically as long as it is held down, which can be useful in certain games.

  1. Activate Turbo: Press and hold the TURBO button, then press the desired action button (e.g., A, B, X, Y, L1, R1, L2, R2). The Turbo function is now active for that button.
  2. Deactivate Turbo: To turn off Turbo for a specific button, press and hold the TURBO button again, then press the same action button.
  3. Clear All Turbo: To clear all active Turbo settings, press and hold the TURBO button for approximately 5 seconds.

4.3 Powering On/Off

  • Power On: Press the Home button.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Home button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicator turns off. The controller will also automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.

Proper care will extend the life of your controller.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the controller. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the device. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the controller regularly, even if not in use for extended periods, to maintain battery health.
