  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Locate the air filter on the back of the unit.
  3. Slide the filter out gently.
  4. Rinse the filter thoroughly under running water. For heavy dust, use a mild detergent and warm water.

5.2 Draining Water

During cooling and dehumidification, water collects inside the unit. The unit has a self-evaporative system, but in high humidity conditions, manual draining may be necessary. The unit will stop operating and display an error code (e.g., 'FL' for full tank) when the water tank is full.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Place a shallow pan or tray under the drain port located at the bottom rear of the unit.
  3. Remove the drain plug. Water will begin to flow out.
  4. Once all water has drained, replace the drain plug securely.

5.3 Storage

If the unit will not be used for an extended period:

  1. Drain all accumulated water from the unit.
  2. Clean the air filter.
  3. Run the unit in Fan mode for a few hours to dry the interior.
