2. Connect to Host Laptop: Use the provided USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the docking station to your laptop's USB-C port. For optimal performance and display capabilities, ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports Thunderbolt 3/4, USB-C with Power Delivery + DisplayPort Alt Mode.
3. Connect External Displays:
   • For HDMI displays, connect HDMI cables from your monitors to the HDMI 1 and/or HDMI 2 ports on the docking station.
   • For VGA displays, connect a VGA cable from your monitor to the VGA port on the docking station.

• Using the Rightmost USB-C Host Port (Extend Mode): When connecting your laptop to the rightmost USB-C host port on the docking station, only HDMI 1 will function, supporting 4K@30Hz output. Other display ports will not be active. This mode is suitable for single external display extension.
• Using the Left USB-C Host Port (Mirror Mode): Connecting to the left USB-C host port allows for mirroring your laptop's display across HDMI 1 (4K@30Hz) and HDMI 2 (4K@30Hz).
• Using the Left USB-C Host Port (Extend Mode): Connecting to the left USB-C host port also allows for extending your desktop across HDMI 1 (4K@30Hz) and HDMI 2 (4K@30Hz), providing two distinct external displays.

Note: To configure display settings in Windows, right-click on your desktop and select "Display settings."

5.2 Display Configuration for Mac OS

For Mac OS systems, the docking station supports multiple display modes when connecting both USB-C host ports to your Mac.

Note: MacBooks with M1 chip officially support only one external monitor in extended mode. To configure display settings in Mac OS, go to "System Preferences" > "Displays."
