2. Setup
2.1 Helmet Installation:
The S3 intercom offers two installation methods to suit various helmet types: adhesive base and clip-on base. Choose the method that best fits your helmet.

- Adhesive Base: Peel off the protective film from the Velcro adhesive base and firmly attach it to the side of your helmet. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
- Clip-on Base: Slide the clip-on base onto the edge of your helmet. This method is ideal for helmets with thin edges.
- Once the base is secured, slide the S3 main unit onto the installed base until it clicks into place.
2.2 Microphone and Speaker Installation:
The S3 comes with a 2-in-1 microphone cable, offering both soft and hard microphone options. Select the appropriate microphone for your helmet type.
- Soft Microphone: Suitable for full-face helmets. Attach the soft microphone inside the helmet near your mouth using the provided Velcro.
- Hard Microphone: Ideal for open-face or modular helmets. Position the hard microphone boom so it is close to your mouth.
- Attach the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets using the provided Velcro pads. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound quality.
- Connect the headphone/microphone cable to the Type-C port on the S3 main unit. Note: Ensure the speaker plug is inserted deeply and correctly into the main unit for proper connection.
2.3 Bluetooth Pairing:
The S3 intercom features automatic pairing for convenience.

- Ensure the S3 unit is charged.
- Turn on the S3 main unit. It will automatically enter pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "S3" from the list of devices to connect.
- After the initial pairing, the S3 will automatically connect to your phone within 1 second upon power-on.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Functions:
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds.
- Volume Up/Next Track: Short press the "+" button for volume up, long press for next track.
- Volume Down/Previous Track: Short press the "-" button for volume down, long press for previous track.
3.2 Call Handling:
The S3 supports automatic call answering and clear communication with CVC intelligent noise cancellation.

- Answer Call: Incoming calls will be answered automatically after approximately 10 seconds.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the "M" button for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
- End Call: Short press the "M" button during a call.
- Redial Last Number: Double-click the "M" button when not on a call.
3.3 Music Playback:
Enjoy HD HIFI sound quality with deep bass for an immersive audio experience.
- Play/Pause: Short press the "M" button.
- Next Track: Long press the "+" button.
- Previous Track: Long press the "-" button.
3.4 Voice Assistant:
Activate your phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant) directly from the S3 unit.

- Activate Voice Assistant: Double-click the "M" button. You will hear a prompt sound, indicating you can now issue commands to your phone's voice assistant.
3.5 Lighting Modes:
The S3 headset features multiple lighting modes for visual appeal.
- Cycle through Modes: Short press the "M" button, then short press it again to cycle through the lighting effects.
- Available modes include: Random color change breathing, Random jump color change, and Lights off.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Waterproofing (IPX7):

The Uandear S3 is designed with an ABS+silicone sealing structure and enhanced waterproof sealing ring, providing an IPX7 waterproof rating. This protects the internal components from rain, snow, and dust, ensuring reliable performance in various weather conditions.
- Do not intentionally submerge the device in water for extended periods.
- After exposure to water, wipe the device dry before charging or opening any ports.
4.2 Battery Care:
The S3 is equipped with a 1500mAh lithium battery for long-lasting performance.
- Charging: Use the provided Type-C charging cable to charge the device. Connect it to a standard USB power adapter (not included).
- Battery Life: Up to 80 hours of music/talk time and 600 hours of standby time.
- Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.
- For optimal battery longevity, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
7. Warranty and Support
The Uandear S3 Motorcycle Helmet Intercom System comes with a standard 1-year product warranty from the date of purchase.
