7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your water heater.

  • Water Inlet Filter: Periodically inspect and clean the water inlet filter to ensure clean water supply and prevent sediment buildup.
  • Flushing: If the water heater has not been used for an extended period, it is recommended to flush the unit by running water through it before resuming normal operation. This helps prevent issues related to water quality changes that can lead to uneven heating or damage to internal components.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Clean the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No hot water or insufficient hot water
  • No power to the unit.
  • Water flow rate is too low to activate heating.
  • Inlet water temperature is very low, and flow rate is high.
  • Unit is frozen.
  • Check power supply and circuit breaker.
  • Ensure water flow meets the activation requirement (1.2-1.5 L/min).
  • Reduce water flow to allow the unit more time to heat the water, or adjust expectations for maximum temperature rise in cold conditions.
  • Do not use if frozen. Allow to thaw completely before use.
Water leakage
  • Loose plumbing connections.
  • Damaged seals or internal components.
  • Tighten all water connections.
  • If leakage persists, turn off power and water supply immediately and contact customer support.
