Setup Instructions

1. Assemble the Fountain Rod: Attach the telescopic fountain rod to the pump unit. The rod can be adjusted in height from 12.2 to 21.3 inches.
2. Install Fountain Nozzle: Choose either the Daisy Nozzle or the Dome Nozzle and securely attach it to the top of the fountain rod.
3. Connect 3-Way Regulating Valve: If desired, connect the 3-way regulating valve to the pump's water outlet. This valve allows for adjustable pumping flow and can divert water to an additional feature like a waterfall.
4. Position the Pump: Place the assembled pump unit at the desired location in your pond. Ensure it is fully submerged and stable. The portable handle assists with placement.
5. Secure the Cover: Ensure the safety clips on both sides of the pump are securely fastened to close the cover.
6. Connect Power: Route the 33-foot power cord to a suitable, weather-protected electrical outlet. Do not plug in the unit until all other setup steps are complete.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Once the pump is fully submerged and all connections are secure, plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The pump will begin operating.
2. Adjust Fountain Flow: Use the 3-way regulating valve to adjust the water flow rate for the fountain and any connected auxiliary features.
3. Monitor UV Lamp: The visible window on the pump allows you to observe the working status of the 13W UV lamp. A blue glow indicates the lamp is operational.
4. Initial Clearing: It may take some time for the pond water to become clear, especially after initial setup or if the pond was previously very dirty. Regular operation will improve water clarity.

Filter Cleaning

• Frequency: Clean the filter sponges weekly for best performance, or more frequently depending on pond debris levels.
• Procedure:
  1. Disconnect power to the unit.
  2. Carefully remove the pump from the pond using the portable handle.
  3. Unfasten the safety clips and open the pump cover.
  4. Remove the filter pads (sponges) and filter stones.
  5. Rinse the filter pads and filter stones thoroughly with pond water (not tap water, to preserve beneficial bacteria) until clean.
  6. Reassemble all components in reverse order, ensuring the cover is securely fastened with the safety clips.

UV Lamp Replacement

The 13W UV lamp has an estimated durability of 8000 hours. Replace the lamp when its effectiveness diminishes or it ceases to glow.

1. Step 1: Disconnect the power supply. Unlock the safety buckle on the lamp housing.
2. Step 2: Rotate the lamp cover counter-clockwise and remove it.
3. Step 3: Carefully pull out the old UV lamp and insert the new one. Avoid touching the glass part of the new lamp with bare hands.
4. Step 4: Reassemble all parts securely, ensuring the lamp cover is tightened clockwise and the safety buckle is locked.
