1. Introduction

This filter is designed to work with your AIRAPEX T3 Air Purifier to enhance air quality through a dual-effect purification system. It combines a HEPA filter with a water washing filter to thoroughly purify physical, biological, and chemical pollutants. The premium granular activated carbon filter effectively absorbs unwanted odors and fumes, including smoke, cooking odors, pet odors, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The water filter component captures residual sediment, chemicals, and heavy metals from the water used for humidification. This manual provides essential information for proper setup, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your filter.

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Preparation

1. Carefully remove the AIRAPEX T3 filter from its packaging. Ensure all protective materials, such as styrofoam, are removed from around and inside the filter unit.
2. The HEPA filter is pre-installed in the air purifier unit. If you are replacing an old filter, refer to the 'Maintenance' section for removal and installation instructions.
3. Ensure the water washing filter is correctly seated within its compartment.

2.2 Adding Water

1. Remove the top lid of the air purifier.
2. Locate the water reservoir. Carefully pour clean tap water into the reservoir, ensuring not to exceed the 'MAX' fill line indicated on the unit.
3. Replace the top lid securely.

2.3 Power Connection

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

• Press the power button on the display to turn the unit on or off.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Filter Replacement

• The activated charcoal water filter should be replaced approximately every 6 months. If you have hard water, more frequent replacement may be necessary.
• To replace the filter, unplug the unit, open the filter compartment (usually at the bottom or back), remove the old filter, and insert the new genuine AIRAPEX T3 filter.

4.2 Cleaning Instructions

• T-Type Washing Filter: Water rinse the T-type washing filter every 2 weeks. Ensure it is completely dry before reinstallation to prevent mold growth.
• HEPA Filter: Clean the HEPA filter using a brush or vacuum cleaner every 2 weeks. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water.

5.1 Indicator Light Flashing Abnormal

• If the indicator light is flashing abnormally, it may indicate incorrect installation. Shut down the unit, unplug the power cord, and then reinstall the water tank, HEPA filter, or T-washing filter. Turn it on again.

5.2 Advantages of Mist-Free Humidification

• Mist-free humidification simulates natural evaporation, diffusing invisible water molecules that spread quickly and uniformly throughout the space.
