4. Setup

5.1 Basic Toasting

- When the desired shade is reached, the toast will automatically pop up. If the item is small, use the high-lift feature by gently lifting the toast lever upwards to retrieve it safely.

5.2 Special Functions
The toaster includes dedicated buttons for specific toasting needs:
- Bagel Function:
This setting toasts the cut side of the bagel while gently warming the outer side. Insert the bagel halves with the cut sides facing inwards. Select your desired shade, press the toast lever down, then press the Bagel Button (often indicated by a bagel icon). The indicator light will illuminate.

- Frozen Function:
This setting adds extra toasting time to properly defrost and toast frozen items. Insert frozen bread or waffles, select your desired shade, press the toast lever down, then press the Frozen Button (often indicated by a snowflake icon). The indicator light will illuminate.

- Cancel Function:
To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the Cancel Button (integrated into the shade selector knob, often indicated by a crossed-out circle). The toast lever will immediately pop up.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.
- Always unplug the toaster from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Crumb Tray: The toaster features a swing-down crumb tray. Open the crumb tray located at the bottom of the toaster and empty crumbs into a waste bin. Wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before closing.
