5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Speaker

1. Locate the charging port on the speaker.
2. Connect the provided charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
3. Plug the other end of the charging cable into a suitable USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
4. The charging indicator light will illuminate, typically red, during charging. It will turn off or change color (e.g., blue) when fully charged.
5. A full charge provides up to 9 hours of playback, depending on volume and usage.

5.2. Powering On/Off

• To power on: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with ⏻) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see indicator lights illuminate.
• To power off: Press and hold the Power button again for a few seconds until the speaker powers down.

5.3. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode. If not, press the Mode button to switch to Bluetooth. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select "Volkano Odyssey" (or similar name) from the list of found devices.
5. Once paired, the speaker will emit an audible confirmation, and the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
6. You can now stream audio wirelessly to your speaker.

Note: The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.

5.4. FM Radio Operation

1. Power on the speaker.
2. Press the Mode button repeatedly until you hear the FM radio function activate.
3. To auto-scan and save available stations: Press and hold the Play/Pause button. The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
4. To switch between saved stations: Use the Previous/Next track buttons.

2. Plug your microphone into this port.
