1. Important Safety Information

Please read and understand all instructions and safety warnings before setting up and using your OASISHOME Pop-up Gazebo Canopy Tent. Failure to follow these instructions may result in property damage or personal injury.

  • Weather Conditions: To prolong the service life of the canopy tent and ensure safety, do not use it in strong wind, heavy rain, snow, storm, or other severe weather conditions. Always take down the tent during adverse weather.
  • Anchoring: Always secure the canopy tent with the provided stakes and ropes. In windy conditions, additional anchoring (e.g., sandbags, weights) is highly recommended.
  • Assembly: It is recommended that 3-4 persons participate in the assembly process for safety and ease of setup.
  • Clearance: Ensure adequate clearance from power lines, trees, and other structures during setup and use.
  • Fire Safety: Keep all flame and heat sources away from the canopy fabric. The fabric is not fireproof.

3. Setup Instructions

Assembly requires 3-4 people and takes a few minutes without tools.

  1. Step 1: Unpack and Partially Unfold Frame
Take the folded frame out of the carrying bag. With assistance, partially unfold the frame, pulling the legs slightly apart.
  2. Step 2: Position the Top Roof
Unfold the top roof fabric and place it over the partially opened frame. Ensure the fabric is correctly oriented with the OASISHOME logo facing outwards.
  3. Step 3: Fully Extend Frame Legs
With each person at a corner, pull the 4 corner legs outwards until the frame is fully extended. Then, extend all 6 legs downwards to raise the canopy to its desired height. The frame features a convenient thumb latch button system for easy extension and folding.
  4. Step 4: Attach Sidewalls (Optional)
The 6 sidewalls can be installed or removed as needed. Attach the sidewalls using the provided fasteners. Two sidewalls have zippers for use as doors, and four have windows for visibility.
  5. Step 5: Secure the Canopy
Use the provided ground stakes to secure the canopy tent to the ground. For increased stability, especially in moderate wind, utilize the ropes to tie down the canopy to the ground stakes. Additional weights (not included) are recommended for extra security.

4. Operating Instructions

The OASISHOME Pop-up Gazebo Canopy Tent is designed for versatile use in various outdoor settings.

  • Height Adjustment: The canopy features three different sidewall height settings. Adjust the leg height by pressing the thumb latch buttons and sliding the inner leg sections to the desired position. Ensure all legs are set to the same height for stability.
  • Sidewall Configuration: The 6 removable sidewalls offer flexibility. Use all sidewalls for maximum enclosure and privacy, or remove some for an open-air feel. The zippered sidewalls provide convenient entry and exit points.
  • Sun Protection: The 210 deniers high-density fabric roof with silver-plated PU lining blocks 99% of harmful UV rays, providing UPF 50+ protection.
  • Water Resistance: The canopy roof is 100% waterproof, offering protection from light rain. However, it is not designed for heavy rain or storms.

5. Maintenance

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your canopy tent.

  • Cleaning: Clean the canopy fabric and frame with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners. Rinse thoroughly and allow all parts to dry completely before storage.
  • Drying: Ensure the canopy fabric is completely dry before folding and storing to prevent mildew and mold growth.
  • Storage: Store the canopy tent in its carrying bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the frame for any signs of damage, rust, or loose connections. Check the fabric for tears or wear. Address any issues promptly to prevent further damage.

6. Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:

  • Difficulty Unfolding/Folding Frame: Ensure all locking mechanisms are disengaged. Apply gentle, even pressure. If the frame is stiff, check for any obstructions or bent parts. Lubricate joints if necessary.
  • Canopy Instability: Verify that all legs are fully extended and locked at the same height. Ensure all ground stakes are firmly inserted and ropes are taut. Add additional weights to the legs for enhanced stability.
  • Water Pooling on Roof: Ensure the canopy fabric is stretched tightly over the frame. Adjust leg heights if possible to create a slight slope for water runoff. This issue is often a sign of improper setup or insufficient tension.
  • Sidewalls Not Fitting: Double-check that the sidewalls are oriented correctly and that the fasteners are aligned with the frame. Ensure the frame is fully extended to its intended dimensions.
