Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and air quality.

  • Filter Cleaning: The unit features washable and removable filters located on the back. These should be cleaned every couple of weeks to a month, depending on usage. Simply remove, dust or rinse with water, and allow to dry completely before reinserting.
  • Drainage: The drain-free design means condensed moisture is typically evaporated. However, for continuous dehumidifier operation or if excess water accumulates, the unit has two drain ports on the back. The lower drain can be opened to manually empty accumulated water, or a drain hose (not included) can be attached to the middle port for continuous drainage.

Troubleshooting

If the unit is not cooling effectively, ensure the exhaust hose is properly installed and sealed in the window. Check that the air filters are clean and not obstructed. Verify that the desired temperature setting is lower than the current room temperature. If issues persist, consult the full user manual or contact customer support.
