4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches. Two people may be helpful for certain steps.

1. Attach the Backrest to the Seat: Align the backrest with the seat cushion. Secure them using the provided screws and hex key. It may be necessary to apply slight pressure to align the screw holes. Start all screws loosely before fully tightening.
2. Insert the Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the chair base.
3. Attach the Seat Assembly to the Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is securely seated.
4. Final Check: Once assembled, ensure all connections are tight and the chair is stable before use.

5. Operating Instructions

Your OLIXIS chair offers several adjustable features for optimal comfort.

• Height Adjustment: To adjust the seat height, locate the lever on the right side under the seat.
  • To raise the seat: Lift the lever while taking your weight off the seat.
  • To lower the seat: Lift the lever while remaining seated.
  The seat height adjusts from approximately 15.94 inches to 19.69 inches.
• 360° Swivel: The chair seat can rotate a full 360 degrees, allowing for easy movement and access to your surroundings without needing to reposition the entire chair.
• Rocking Function: To activate the rocking function, pull out the lever located under the seat. The chair can recline up to 21 degrees, providing a comfortable rocking motion. To lock the chair in an upright position, push the lever back in. You can also adjust the tension of the rocking mechanism by turning the knob located under the seat cushion. Turn clockwise to increase tension (harder to rock) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (easier to rock).
