4. Setup (Installation Instructions)
Follow these steps to install your FRIDEKO HOME Rattan Chandelier. It is recommended to have a second person assist during installation due to the size and weight of the fixture.
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the junction box is turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Prepare Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the junction box in the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Adjust Hanging Height: Determine the desired hanging length for your chandelier. The chain can be adjusted by opening and removing links as needed. Use the removable buckle to secure the chain to the canopy.
- Wire Connections: Carefully connect the electrical wires:
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (Live) wire from the ceiling using a wire nut.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (Neutral) wire from the ceiling using a wire nut.
- Connect the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the ceiling (usually bare copper or green) using a wire nut.
- Mount Canopy: Carefully push the wired mounting bracket and wires into the junction box. Raise the ceiling canopy to the ceiling, aligning the mounting screws on the bracket with the holes in the canopy. Secure the canopy with the decorative nuts.
- Install Bulbs: Screw four E12 base bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Do not exceed 40 watts per bulb.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions
This chandelier is designed for simple operation once installed.
- Power On/Off: Control the light using a standard wall switch connected to the fixture's electrical circuit.
- Bulb Compatibility: The fixture is compatible with LED, CFL, incandescent, and halogen bulbs with an E12 (candelabra) base.
- Dimming: If you wish to use dimmable bulbs, ensure they are compatible with your dimmer switch.

- Bulb Replacement: Always turn off the power before replacing bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool completely before touching them. Replace with E12 base bulbs, not exceeding 40 watts.
