4. Setup

Before first use, ensure all components are securely assembled.

1. Assemble the Handle: Insert the upper handle section into the lower handle section until the spring-loaded pin engages.
2. Attach Handle to Jack: Insert the assembled handle into the handle socket on the jack. Secure it by aligning the pin and tightening any retaining screws or pins as per the diagram.
3. Bleed the Hydraulic System (Initial Use): If the jack does not lift properly or feels spongy, the hydraulic system may need to be bled. Consult the manufacturer's instructions for bleeding procedures.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Lifting the Vehicle

1. Park the vehicle on a firm, level surface. Engage the parking brake and chock the wheels that will remain on the ground.
2. Locate the vehicle's designated lifting points (refer to your vehicle's owner's manual).
3. Position the jack's saddle directly under the lifting point. Ensure the saddle makes full contact with the lifting point.
4. Twist the handle clockwise until the release valve is fully closed.
5. Pump the handle up and down to raise the vehicle to the desired height.
6. Once the vehicle is lifted, immediately place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle's frame at designated support points.
7. Slowly lower the jack until the vehicle rests securely on the jack stands.

5.2. Lowering the Vehicle

1. Ensure the area around the vehicle is clear.
2. Slightly raise the vehicle off the jack stands using the floor jack.
3. Remove the jack stands from under the vehicle.
4. Slowly twist the handle counter-clockwise to open the release valve. The vehicle will lower gradually.
5. Once the vehicle is fully lowered, remove the jack.
