3. Setup Guide

3.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of each handset.
  2. Slide the cover downwards to open it.
  3. Insert the two AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries into each handset, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover, sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.

3.2. Connecting the Base Station

  1. Connect one end of the RJ11 telephone line cable to the "LINE" port on the main base station.
  2. Connect the other end of the RJ11 cable to your telephone wall socket or internet box.
  3. Plug one power adapter into the "POWER" port on the main base station.
  4. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  5. For the second charging base, plug its power adapter into the "POWER" port on the base and then into a wall outlet.
  6. Place each handset on its respective charging base. The display should indicate charging. Allow the batteries to charge for at least 12-15 hours before initial use.

4. Operation

4.1. Basic Call Functions

  • Making a Call: Press the green call button, then dial the number. Alternatively, dial the number first and then press the green call button.
  • Answering a Call: When the phone rings, press the green call button.
  • Ending a Call: Press the red end call button or place the handset back on the charging base.
  • Hands-Free (Speakerphone): During a call, press the speakerphone button (often indicated by a speaker icon) to activate hands-free mode. Press it again to return to handset mode.
  • Redial: Press the redial button (often indicated by a phone icon with an arrow) to redial the last number called. The phone stores the last 5 numbers.

4.2. Answering Machine

  • Playing Messages: Press the play button on the main base or access the answering machine menu via the handset.

  • Call Transfer: During an active call, you can transfer it to another registered handset. Consult the handset menu for the specific steps.
  • Intercom: Make internal calls between registered handsets. Up to 5 handsets can be associated.
  • Conference Call: The system supports 3-way conference calls (1 external, 2 internal participants).
  • Mute Function: During a call, press the mute button to temporarily disable your microphone.
  • Keypad Lock: Press and hold the '#' key to lock/unlock the keypad, preventing accidental dialing.

4.4. Language Settings
