1. Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your OKP K3P Robot Vacuum Cleaner for first use.

1.1 Unboxing and Initial Preparation

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all protective films and packing materials are removed from the robot and charging station.

  1. Install Side Brushes: Attach the side brushes to the designated slots on the underside of the robot.
  2. Place Charging Station: Position the charging station against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no reflective objects or obstacles within 0.5 meters to the left/right and 1 meter in front.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the charging station and an electrical outlet. Ensure the charging station's display light is on.

1.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the robot vacuum cleaner. This typically takes several hours.

  1. Power On: Open the top cover of the robot and locate the red power switch. Turn it on.
  2. Place on Charger: Manually place the robot onto the charging station, ensuring the charging sensors align. The robot will beep and the power button will light up.
  3. Verify Charging: Confirm the robot is charging. The indicator light will show charging status.

1.3 Wi-Fi and App Connection

Connect your robot to the OKP app for advanced control and scheduling. The robot supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks only.

  1. Download App: Download the "OKP" app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Register/Login: Create an account or log in to the OKP app.
  3. Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your K3P robot vacuum cleaner. This typically involves putting the robot into pairing mode (holding the power button for 6 seconds until it beeps and flashes slowly) and connecting to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.

2. Operation

Your OKP K3P Robot Vacuum Cleaner offers multiple cleaning modes and control options.

2.1 Cleaning Modes

The robot supports 6 cleaning modes, adjustable via the app:

  • Bow-shaped Mode: Standard cleaning pattern for general coverage.
  • Edge Mode: Cleans along walls and furniture edges.
  • Spot Mode: Concentrates cleaning on a specific dirty area.
  • Random Mode: Cleans randomly, suitable for complex layouts.
  • Manual Mode: Control the robot's movement manually via the app.
  • Timer Mode: Schedule cleaning sessions in advance.

You can also adjust suction power (Silent, Standard, Strong) through the app. The maximum suction power is 3000Pa.

2.2 Smart Control

  • One-Touch Start: Press the power button on the robot for immediate cleaning.
  • App Remote Control: Use the OKP app to start, stop, schedule cleaning, and change modes from anywhere.
  • Voice Control: The robot is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant. Link your OKP account to your smart assistant app to control the robot with voice commands (e.g., "Alexa, turn on K3P").

2.3 Navigation and Safety Features

3. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance of your robot vacuum cleaner.

3.1 Dustbin Cleaning

The K3P features a 500ml dustbin for extended cleaning sessions. Empty the dustbin after each use or when full.

  1. Open Top Cover: Lift the top cover of the robot.
  2. Remove Dustbin: Grasp the handle and pull out the dustbin.
  3. Empty and Clean: Open the dustbin, empty its contents, and clean the filter and dustbin with the provided cleaning tool or a soft brush.
  4. Reinstall: Place the clean dustbin back into the robot and close the top cover.

3.2 Side Brush Maintenance

The side brushes are detachable for easy cleaning and replacement. Regularly check for tangled hair or debris.

  • Remove Brushes: Gently pull the side brushes upwards to detach them.
  • Clean: Remove any hair or debris tangled around the brushes.
  • Reattach: Push the brushes back into their slots until they click into place.

3.3 Sensor Cleaning

Wipe the sensors on the robot's bumper and underside with a dry cloth periodically to ensure proper navigation.

4. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your OKP K3P, refer to the following common solutions:
