Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your balloons for decoration:
- Inflation: Use a balloon hand pump or an electric balloon pump to inflate the latex balloons. Do NOT overfill the balloons. Control the amount of air inflated into each balloon to achieve your desired size and shape.
- Air vs. Helium: Balloons filled with air will remain inflated for up to 72 hours. Balloons filled with helium will stay full for approximately 3-6 hours. For optimal float results, inflate with helium 1-2 hours before your event.
- Tying Balloons: Once inflated, tie the neck of each balloon securely. For creating garlands, you can tie two balloons together to form a pair, then twist these pairs onto the balloon decorating strip.
- Attaching to Strip: Insert the tied knot of the inflated balloons into the holes of the balloon decorating strip. Alternate balloon sizes and colors to create a visually appealing garland or arch.

Operating (Creating Garlands/Arches)
Once your balloons are inflated and tied, you can begin assembling your garland or arch:
- Design: Plan your design by considering the placement of different balloon sizes and colors. Mixing sizes adds depth and visual interest to your garland.
- Assembly: Attach the tied balloons to the provided balloon decorating strip. You can skip holes or use multiple balloons per hole to achieve different densities.
- Shaping: Once all balloons are attached, gently bend and shape the strip to form your desired arch or garland shape.
- Placement: Secure your completed garland or arch to a wall, frame, or other desired surface using hooks, tape, or string (not included).

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and appearance of your balloons:
- Storage (Uninflated): Store uninflated balloons in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling (Inflated): Avoid exposing inflated balloons to sharp objects, excessive friction, direct sunlight, or extreme heat, as these can cause premature popping or deflation.
- Cleaning: If necessary, gently wipe the surface of the balloons with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
