4. Setup Guide

4.1. Battery Installation (Excavator)

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the excavator.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover using a screwdriver (not included).
  3. Connect one of the provided 1200mAh rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries to the excavator's battery connector.
  4. Carefully place the battery inside the compartment and close the cover.
  5. Pro Tip: Manually turn the track before installing the battery to ensure proper alignment and function.

4.2. Battery Installation (Remote Control)

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 2x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover.

4.3. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the excavator's rechargeable batteries using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the cable to a standard USB power adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port). The charging indicator will show when charging is complete. A full charge provides up to 60 minutes of play time per battery.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Remote Control Functions

  • Left Joystick: Controls the left track for forward/backward movement and turning.

  • Use the dedicated arm swing buttons to raise or lower the excavator arm.
  • Use the dredge/bucket buttons to open and close the metal shovel for digging, scooping, and dumping.
  • Each channel of the excavator can be operated individually or together for complex maneuvers.

5.4. 680-Degree Cab Rotation

The excavator's cab can rotate a full 680 degrees, allowing for versatile operation. Use the designated rotation controls on the remote (refer to the remote control diagram) to turn the cab left or right.

6. Maintenance
