Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using your Haier HAF5P Air Fryer. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance matches your local mains voltage before connecting.
- Always unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool down completely before handling.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
- Do not place the appliance against a wall or against other appliances. Leave at least 10 cm free space on the back and sides and 10 cm free space above the appliance.
- Do not place anything on top of the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than described in this manual.
- Hot air is released through the air outlet opening during hot air frying. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet opening.
- The outer surfaces may become hot during use. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

Setup and First Use

- Clean: Wash the frying basket and any removable parts thoroughly with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp cloth.

- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, horizontal, and level surface. Do not place the appliance on non-heat-resistant surfaces.
- Pre-heat (Optional): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10 minutes at 200°C to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor may be present, which is normal.

Maintenance and Cleaning

- Clean Basket and Pan: The frying basket and pan are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak them in hot water for about 10 minutes.
- Clean Interior: Wipe the inside of the appliance with a hot water and non-abrasive sponge.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Heating Element: Clean the heating element with a cleaning brush to remove any food residue.
- Storage: Store the appliance in a dry, cool place after it has been thoroughly cleaned and dried.
