Setup and Installation

1. Prepare the Installation Area:

   • Determine the desired location for the downlight. Ensure there is sufficient clearance above the ceiling for the junction box and fixture.
   • Using the provided template (if applicable) or referring to the specifications, cut a 5-inch diameter hole in the ceiling.
2. Make Electrical Connections:
   • Open the cover of the integrated junction box.
   • Connect the building's electrical wires to the corresponding wires in the junction box:
     • Black wire to Live (L)
     • White wire to Neutral (N)
     • Green or bare copper wire to Ground (G)
     Secure connections with wire nuts (not included, or as provided).
   • Close the junction box cover securely.
3. Install the Fixture:
   • Carefully push the junction box through the cut-out hole into the ceiling cavity.
   • Push the downlight fixture into the cut-out hole. The spring clips on the sides of the fixture will automatically engage and secure the fixture to the ceiling.
   • Ensure the fixture is flush with the ceiling surface.
4. Restore Power:
   • Once installation is complete, turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.
   • Test the downlight to ensure proper operation.

Operating Instructions

Color Temperature (CCT) Selection:

The Nora NMC-6RTWMPW downlight features a selectable CCT switch located on the junction box. This switch allows you to choose from five different color temperatures:

• 2700K (Warm White)
• 3000K (Soft White)
• 3500K (Neutral White)
• 4000K (Cool White)
• 5000K (Daylight)

To change the CCT:

1. Turn off power to the fixture at the circuit breaker.
2. Carefully pull the fixture down from the ceiling to access the junction box (if necessary, or if the switch is accessible without removing the fixture).
3. Locate the CCT selection switch on the junction box.
4. Slide the switch to your desired color temperature setting.
5. Reinstall the fixture (if removed) and restore power to test the new CCT setting.

Adjusting Light Direction:

The M-Curve downlight offers exceptional adjustability to direct light as needed:

• Tilt: The inner light module can be tilted up to 80° from its flush position. Gently push or pull the inner module to achieve the desired angle.
• Rotation: The entire inner light module can be rotated 360°. Gently twist the inner module to orient the light beam.

Note: Always adjust the fixture gently to avoid damage. Do not force movement beyond its intended range.

Dimming:

This fixture is compatible with Triac or ELV dimmers. Ensure your dimmer switch is compatible with LED lighting and is properly installed according to its manufacturer's instructions. Dimming performance may vary depending on the dimmer used.

Maintenance
