5. Operation
The RED WOLF BS6100 circuit breaker features a simple manual reset mechanism for easy operation.
- ON Position: When the lever is in the 'ON' position, power flows through the circuit.
- OFF/TRIP Position: If an overcurrent condition occurs, the breaker will automatically trip, moving the lever to the 'OFF/TRIP' position, interrupting the circuit. The visible reset lever clearly indicates this open condition.
- Manual Reset: To restore power after a trip, first identify and resolve the cause of the overcurrent. Then, push the yellow lever back to the 'ON' position.
