4. Setup

Placement:

Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. The design allows for placement close to a wall, maximizing room space. Ensure there is sufficient clearance around the air intake and outlet for optimal performance.

Power Connection:

Connect the power cord to a standard 100V (50Hz/60Hz) outlet. The unit features an L-shaped plug for convenience and safety. Ensure the plug is fully inserted.

5. Operating Instructions

Control Panel:

Dehumidification:

The dehumidification function can be set to 4 levels: Continuous, High, Standard, and Low. The unit uses a heat pump (compressor) method. Note that during dehumidification, the unit generates heat, which may slightly increase room temperature.

Humidification:

Automatic Control (Omakase Operation):

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial to maintain the performance of your air purifier. Always stop operation and unplug the power cord before cleaning.

Front Panel and Main Unit:

  • Wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water if dirt is noticeable.

Pre-filter:

  • Approximately once every 2 weeks, remove dust with a vacuum cleaner.
  • After vacuuming, remove the pre-filter, wash it with water, and dry it in the shade.
  • Note: The dust collection filter (TAFU filter) cannot be cleaned.

Sensor Air Intake:

  • If dust accumulates, remove it with a vacuum cleaner (3 locations; refer to the instruction manual for details).

Dust/PM2.5 Sensor Lens:

  • Remove the cover of the sensor air intake and wipe the dust/PM2.5 sensor lens with a dry cotton swab (approximately once every 3 months).
  • Ensure the cover is securely reattached.

Streamer Unit:

  • When the Streamer lamp flashes, soak the unit and wipe it clean.

Humidifying Tank:

  • Wash with water every time you refill the tank.

Humidifying Tray and Humidifying Filter Unit:

  • Approximately once a month, or when odors or dirt are noticeable, wash with water or soak.
  • For odors or dirt: Soak in lukewarm water with neutral detergent or baking soda for 30-60 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
  • For stubborn water stains: Soak in lukewarm water with citric acid for about 2 hours, then rinse thoroughly.

Dehumidifying Tank:

  • Approximately once a month, or when odors or dirt are noticeable, wash with water.

Deodorizing Filter (Not Water Washable):

  • If odors or dirt are noticeable, clean with a vacuum cleaner.

After Maintenance:

  • When the air is clean and there are no odors, plug in the power cord.
  • The first minute after plugging in the power cord sets the reference for the odor sensor sensitivity.

7. Troubleshooting
