4. Setup and Installation
This device is designed for DIN rail mounting. Professional installation is highly recommended.
4.1 Physical Installation
- Power Disconnection: Before starting, ensure the main power supply to the circuit is completely disconnected. Verify with a voltage tester.
- Mounting: Mount the device securely onto a standard DIN rail within your electrical panel.
- Wiring:

4.2 TUYA APP Connection
- Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your mobile device's app store (iOS or Android).
- Register/Login: Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device:
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network.
- In the app, tap the "+" icon (usually top right) to add a device.
- Select the appropriate device category (e.g., "Electrical" -> "Circuit Breaker" or "Energy Meter").
- Follow the on-screen instructions to put the device into pairing mode. This usually involves pressing and holding the "WiFi" button on the device until the WiFi indicator blinks rapidly.
- Confirm the blinking indicator in the app and enter your WiFi network password.
- The app will search for and connect to the device. Once connected, you can rename the device and assign it to a room.

5. Operation
5.1 Device Display and Buttons
The device features an LCD display and several control buttons:
- Display: Shows real-time voltage (V), current (A), power (W), and accumulated energy (kWh).
- SET Button: Used to enter settings mode and confirm selections.
- Up/Down Arrows: Used to navigate through settings and adjust values.

5.2 Manual ON/OFF Control
Press the Red Power Button on the device to manually switch the circuit ON or OFF.
5.3 Setting Protection Parameters (On-Device)
To adjust protection settings directly on the device:
- Press and hold the SET button for a few seconds to enter the settings menu.
- Use the Up/Down Arrows to navigate through parameters such as over-current threshold, over-voltage threshold, under-voltage threshold, leakage current threshold, over-current/leakage protection time, and reconnection delay time.
- Press SET to select a parameter, then use the Up/Down Arrows to adjust its value.
- Press SET again to confirm the new value.
- Exit the settings menu by waiting for a timeout or navigating to the exit option.
Note: Default settings are: Over-current/Leakage Protection Time: 5 seconds; Reconnection Time: 30 seconds.

Once connected to the Tuya Smart app, you can:
- Remote ON/OFF: Switch the circuit on or off from anywhere using the app.
- Real-time Monitoring: View live voltage, current, power, and energy consumption (kWh) data.

- Timing Modes: Set up three timing modes:
- Timer Mode: Schedule specific ON/OFF times for the device.
- Countdown Mode: Set a countdown timer for the device to switch ON or OFF after a specified duration.
- Cycle Timing Mode: Configure repetitive ON/OFF cycles.
- Historical Data: Access historical energy consumption data and protection event logs.
6. Maintenance
