Important Safety Instructions

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance.

Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for storage or future transport.
  2. Inspect: Check the appliance for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
  3. Clean: Wipe down the exterior of the vacuum sealer with a damp cloth. Ensure the sealing strip and vacuum channel are clean and dry.
  4. Placement: Place the vacuum sealer on a flat, stable, and dry surface.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the AC adapter into the vacuum sealer and then into a standard electrical outlet.

Preparing Vacuum Seal Bags:

  • Ensure the bag is clean and dry inside the sealing area.
  • Do not overfill the bag; leave at least 3 inches of space from the top for proper sealing.
  • For wet foods, ensure no liquid enters the sealing area. Pre-freeze liquids or use the "Wet" mode with caution.

Operating Instructions

Basic Vacuum Sealing (Dry Food):

  1. Place the open end of the vacuum bag into the vacuum chamber of the machine. Ensure the bag is flat and smooth.
  2. Close the lid of the vacuum sealer. Press down firmly on both ends of the lid until you hear two "pops," indicating it is securely locked.
  3. Select the "Dry" mode for dry food items.
  4. Press the "VAC & Seal" button. The machine will automatically vacuum the air from the bag and then seal it. Indicator lights will guide you through the process.
  5. Once the process is complete, the indicator lights will turn off. Press the release buttons on the sides to open the lid and remove your sealed bag.

Sealing Wet Food (Marinade Friendly):

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2 from "Basic Vacuum Sealing."
  2. Select the "Wet" mode. This mode is optimized for foods with moisture content, such as raw meat or marinated items.
  3. Press the "VAC & Seal" button. The machine will adjust its vacuum and sealing process for wet conditions.
  4. After completion, release the lid and remove the sealed bag.
  5. Note: For very wet foods, consider pre-freezing liquids or using a longer bag to prevent liquid from entering the machine's vacuum channel.

Using External VAC Mode (for containers/jars):

  1. Connect one end of the air suction hose to the external vacuum port on the machine.
  2. Connect the other end of the hose to the vacuum port on your compatible vacuum-sealable container or jar.
  3. Select the "External VAC" mode.
  4. Press the "VAC" button. The machine will begin to remove air from the container.
  5. Once vacuuming is complete, disconnect the hose.

Temperature Settings (for Sealing Only):

The vacuum sealer offers 5 temperature settings to achieve the best seal for various bag types:

  • Temperature 1: For very thin vacuum bags.
  • Temperature 2 or 3: For dry food bags of standard thickness.
  • Temperature 4: For wet food bags.
  • Temperature 5: For thick vacuum bags.

Caution: Using too high a temperature can burn the bag, while too low a temperature may result in an incomplete seal. Adjust as needed for optimal results.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Appliance:

  1. Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  3. Clean the vacuum channel and sealing strip regularly, especially after sealing wet foods. Use a damp cloth to wipe away any food residue or moisture. Ensure these areas are completely dry before next use.
  4. The rubber sealer is designed for easy removal for thorough cleaning. Ensure it is properly reinstalled before use.

Storage:

Store the vacuum sealer in a dry, cool place. Its compact size allows for easy storage in cabinets or drawers. The machine can also be stored vertically to save space.
