Operating Instructions

Understanding the Display

The monitor's LCD screen displays real-time readings for all detected parameters. The main screen typically shows CO2, PM2.5, HCHO, TVOC, Temperature, and Humidity.

AQI Stages and Alarm

The device categorizes air quality into three stages based on gas concentration:

  • Green: Safe
  • Orange: Poor
  • Red: Unhealthy

When the gas concentration exceeds a preset alarm value (typically set to the 'Orange' level), the device will emit an audible alarm to notify you. You can adjust alarm settings via the mobile application.

Switching Display Modes

The device allows you to switch between displaying HCHO/TVOC and PM1.0/PM10 readings. Press the multifunction button (usually the power button) to toggle between these views.

Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your air quality monitor, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Placement: Place the monitor in a stable location, away from direct sunlight, strong drafts, and sources of extreme temperature or humidity.
  • Automatic Calibration: The device features automatic calibration for its sensors, reducing the need for manual adjustments.
  • Sensor Protection: Avoid obstructing the sensor vents on the device.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Short Battery Life / Device Dies QuicklyThe device's internal battery is primarily for portability and short-term use. Continuous monitoring requires a constant power supply.Keep the device plugged in via the Type-C cable for continuous operation and accurate readings. The battery is designed for approximately 1 hour of use on a full charge.
Screen is too dim or unreadableThe automatic brightness adjustment feature may dim the screen excessively in certain lighting conditions.Ensure the device is not placed in an area with very low ambient light that might trigger extreme dimming. There is no manual brightness control on the device itself; check the app for any related display settings.
Device disconnects from app frequentlyUnstable Wi-Fi connection or interference.Ensure the device is within range of a strong 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. Restart your Wi-Fi router and the air quality monitor. Re-pair the device with the app if necessary.
