3.1 Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the camera's internal battery. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the camera's USB port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
3.2 Inserting a Micro TF Card
The camera requires a Micro TF (microSD) card for storing recordings and photos. Insert a high-capacity Micro TF card (Class 10 or higher recommended, up to 128GB) into the designated card slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation to avoid damage.
3.3 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a power symbol) for a few seconds until the indicator lights illuminate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the indicator lights turn off.

4. Operating the Camera
4.1 Recording Video
Once powered on, the camera typically defaults to video recording mode. Press the Record/OK button to start recording. The recording indicator light will flash. Press the button again to stop recording. Videos are saved to the Micro TF card.
4.2 Taking Photos
To switch to photo mode, press the Mode button. The camera's indicator will change to reflect photo mode. Press the Shutter/OK button to take a photo. Photos are saved to the Micro TF card.
4.3 WiFi Connectivity
The camera features built-in WiFi for live view and remote control via a smartphone application. Refer to the specific app instructions (usually found in a separate quick start guide or app store description) for connecting your device. Typically, you will enable WiFi on the camera, then connect your phone to the camera's WiFi network, and finally open the app.
4.4 Infrared (IR) Operation
The SC-4KBLT-IR camera is designed with full spectrum infrared capabilities, allowing it to capture images and video in very low light or complete darkness. For optimal performance in pitch black conditions, it is highly recommended to use an external IR illuminator (not included). The camera's IR functionality is always active due to the removed daytime filter, which means daytime colors may appear altered or inaccurate.

5. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Waterproof Seal: Ensure the waterproof seals and covers (e.g., for USB port, Micro TF card slot) are securely closed before exposing the camera to water. Regularly inspect seals for any damage.
- Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Battery Care: For long-term storage, charge the battery to about 50% to prolong its lifespan. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
