4.2 Setting Up Recording Modes
The camera supports various shooting modes triggered by motion detection:
- Video Recording: Captures video clips when motion is detected.
- Photo Taking: Captures still images when motion is detected.
- Photo + Video: Captures both photos and video clips when motion is detected.
These settings can be configured using the internal 2.0-inch TFT color display and the 6-key control panel.

4.3 Motion Detection and Trigger Speed
The camera features a PIR sensor with a sensing distance of up to 10 meters. When motion is detected, the camera triggers within 0.8 seconds, capturing 1 to 3 consecutive shots or video, depending on your settings.

4.4 Day and Night Operation
The camera automatically switches between day and night modes:
- Day Mode: Captures full-color photos and videos.
- Night Mode: Utilizes infrared lamps (940Nm) to capture clear black and white photos and videos in low-light conditions.

- Battery Care: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears. Remove batteries if the camera will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
- Waterproof Seal: Ensure the camera's latches are securely closed to maintain its IP66 waterproof rating, especially before outdoor deployment.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Camera not powering on | Low or dead batteries; incorrect battery orientation. | Replace with fresh AA batteries; ensure correct polarity. |
| No photos/videos captured | Memory card full or not inserted correctly; camera in wrong mode; PIR sensor obstructed. | Check/replace TF card; ensure camera is in "ON" or appropriate recording mode; clear any obstructions from the PIR sensor. |
| Poor image/video quality | Dirty lens; low light conditions (night mode); subject too far. | Clean the camera lens; ensure adequate lighting or proper night vision activation; position camera closer to the subject. |
| Camera not detecting motion | PIR sensitivity set too low; sensor obstructed; subject outside detection range. | Adjust PIR sensitivity in settings; ensure clear line of sight for the sensor; reposition camera. |
