3. Setup & Installation
This range hood is designed for wall mounting and can operate in either exhaust (ducted) or recirculation (ductless) mode.
3.1 Installation Modes
- Exhaust Mode: Vapors and odors are expelled outside through an exhaust duct.
- Recirculation Mode: Air is filtered through activated carbon filters and then returned to the kitchen. The included CC130 carbon filters are for this mode.

5.2 Grease Filter Cleaning
The grease filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., monthly) to maintain effective air filtration. It can be washed by hand with warm soapy water or in a dishwasher.
5.3 Activated Carbon Filter Replacement
If using the range hood in recirculation mode, the activated carbon filters (CC130) need to be replaced periodically, typically every 3-6 months depending on usage. To purchase replacement filters, search for B08GZD4JN4 on Amazon.
6. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer support, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:
- Range Hood Not Turning On: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Verify the circuit breaker.
- Low Suction Power: Ensure grease filters are clean and not clogged. If in recirculation mode, check if carbon filters need replacement. Verify that the exhaust duct is not obstructed.
- Excessive Noise: Check for loose parts or improper installation. Ensure the fan blades are free from obstructions.
- Lights Not Working: Check if the LED light function is activated. If individual lights are out, they may require replacement by a qualified technician.
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact FIREGAS customer support.
