1. Introduction
The Good Rider LX3 Motorcycle Bluetooth Headset is designed to enhance your riding experience with seamless communication and high-quality audio. 3. Installation
The LX3 headset offers two installation methods for the main unit and two microphone types to suit different helmet designs.
3.1 Main Unit Installation
Choose between the clamp base or the magic adhesive base depending on your helmet's edge thickness.
- **For Helmet Edges <9mm (using Clamp Base):** Secure the clamp base to the helmet edge. Slide the LX3 host unit onto the clamp base until it clicks into place.
- **For Helmet Edges >9mm (using Magic Adhesive Base):** Attach the magic adhesive base to a flat surface on the helmet. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying. Slide the LX3 host unit onto the adhesive base.

3.2 Speaker and Microphone Installation
Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets using the provided magic stickers. Route the wires neatly under the helmet lining. Select the appropriate microphone for your helmet type:
- **Soft Tube Wire Microphone:** Suitable for full-face helmets. Position the microphone near your mouth.
- **Hard Tube Wire Microphone:** Suitable for most helmets, including barefaced, off-road, and retro helmets. Position the microphone for optimal voice pickup.
After placing speakers and microphone, install the helmet lining and clip any excess wire into the designated grooves to ensure a secure and comfortable fit.

4. Setup
4.1 Bluetooth Pairing (First Time)
To pair your LX3 headset with your mobile device for the first time:
- Ensure the LX3 headset is powered off.
- Long press the main button (often labeled 'L' or the central multi-function button) for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately. This indicates the headset is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select "LX-3 Pro" (or similar name) from the list. Once connected, the indicator light on the headset will flash blue slowly.

4.2 Automatic Pairing (Previously Paired Devices)
For phones that have already been paired, simply long press the main button for 3 seconds to enter automatic pairing mode. The headset will automatically connect to the last paired device.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Intercom Function
The LX3 supports full-duplex intercom communication for two riders up to 800 meters apart in open terrain.
- **To Initiate Intercom Search:** Short press the "M" button on one of the LX3 units. The unit will begin searching for another LX3 headset.
- **Intercom Pairing:** For initial intercom pairing between two LX3 units, long press the main button on both units for 5 seconds until they flash red and blue alternately. Once paired, the blue light will flash slowly.
- **Turn Intercom On/Off:** After successful intercom pairing, short press the "M" button to toggle the intercom function on or off.

5.2 Music and Call Management
- **Stereo Music:** Enjoy high-definition stereo music through the 40mm full-range membrane monomer speakers.
- **Auto-Answering Calls:** The factory setting defaults to automatic call answering. To switch between manual and automatic answering, double-click the "+" button.
- **Volume Control:** Use the volume control buttons on the unit to adjust audio levels.

5.3 Voice Assistant Activation
To activate your mobile device's voice assistant (e.g., Siri), double-click the "-" button. This allows for hands-free navigation, calling, and other voice commands.

6. Maintenance
