Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the camera's internal battery. Connect the supplied USB Charging Cable to the camera's USB port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. The camera supports video recording while charging.

2. Inserting a Micro TF Card

The camera requires a Micro TF (microSD) card for storing recordings and photos (not included). Locate the Micro TF card slot, typically under a waterproof cover. Insert the card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is properly formatted before use (refer to the Operating section for formatting instructions if needed).

3. Mounting the Camera

Utilize the included mounts to secure the camera for your desired activity:

  • Helmet Mount: Use the Velcro loops to attach the camera securely to a helmet.
  • Handlebar Mount: Secure the camera to bicycle handlebars or similar cylindrical objects.
  • Tripod Adapter Mount: Attach the camera to any standard tripod or monopod for stable shots.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

To power on, press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a power symbol) until the indicator light illuminates. To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the indicator light turns off.

2. Mode Selection

Press the Mode button (often marked with a camera/video icon) to switch between video recording mode and photo shooting mode. The indicator lights will change to reflect the current mode.

3. Video Recording

In video mode, press the Power/Record button once to start recording. The indicator light will blink to indicate recording is in progress. Press the button again to stop recording. Videos are saved as MP4 files.

4. Photo Shooting

In photo mode, press the Power/Shutter button once to take a photo. The camera will briefly flash or make a sound to confirm the photo has been taken. Photos are saved as image files (e.g., JPEG).

5. WiFi Connectivity and Live View

The camera features built-in WiFi. To connect, enable WiFi on the camera (refer to specific button combinations in your quick start guide if available). On your smartphone or tablet, search for the camera's WiFi network and connect. Download the dedicated camera app (check the user manual for app name or QR code) to access live view, control recording, and manage settings remotely.

6. Data Transfer

Connect the camera to your computer using the USB Charging Cable. The camera will appear as a removable disk. You can then transfer video and photo files directly to your computer. Alternatively, remove the Micro TF card and insert it into a card reader connected to your computer.

Maintenance

1. Waterproof Care

The camera is IP66 waterproof. Ensure all port covers and the lens cap are securely closed before exposing the camera to water or moisture. After use in water, wipe the camera dry with a soft cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or solvents.

2. Cleaning

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid touching the lens directly with your fingers.

3. Storage

Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
