4. Care and Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will extend the lifespan of your ALPHA CAMP Screen Tent.

  • Cleaning: Clean the tent fabric with a soft brush or sponge and mild soap (non-detergent) and lukewarm water. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before packing away.
  • Drying: Always ensure the tent is completely dry before folding and storing. Packing a damp tent can lead to mildew and fabric degradation.
  • Storage: Store the tent in its original carry bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Pole Care: Inspect fiberglass poles for any cracks or damage before and after each use. Replace damaged sections as needed to maintain structural integrity.
  • Zipper Maintenance: Keep zippers clean and free of dirt or sand. Lubricate occasionally with a silicone-based zipper lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
