Transmitter Power and Audio Output

The BKM400 system offers flexible connection methods to your television. Ensure your TV's audio output ports are functioning correctly before proceeding.

1. USB Output (Recommended for compatible TVs): If your TV's USB port supports audio output, simply plug the USB transmitter directly into the TV's USB port. The transmitter will draw power and transmit audio through this single connection. Adjust your TV's sound settings to "USB" if necessary.
2. Optical Audio Output: Connect the USB transmitter to a power source (e.g., TV's USB port for power only, or a separate USB power adapter). Then, use the included optical cable to connect the transmitter to your TV's optical audio output port. Adjust your TV's sound settings to "External Speaker" or "PCM".
3. 3.5mm AUX Audio Output: Connect the USB transmitter to a power source. Use the included 3.5mm audio cable to connect the transmitter to your TV's 3.5mm audio output (headphone jack). Adjust your TV's sound settings to "External Speaker".
4. RCA Audio Output: Connect the USB transmitter to a power source. Use the included RCA audio cable (red and white connectors) to connect the transmitter to your TV's RCA audio output ports. Adjust your TV's sound settings to "External Speaker".

Note: If using optical, 3.5mm, or RCA connections, the USB port on the transmitter is for power only. Do not plug the transmitter into both the TV's USB port (for audio) and another audio output simultaneously, unless the TV's USB port is only for power.

Headphone Pairing

The headphones and transmitter are typically pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is needed, follow the troubleshooting steps below.

3. Poor Sound or Headphone Connection Interruption

• This may be caused by incompatibility between the TV and the USB transmitter when the transmitter is powered directly by the TV's USB port. Please remove the USB transmitter from the TV and power it through a separate power adapter.
• Ensure there are no excessive physical or wireless interferences affecting the working range.
