3. Product Overview

3.1. Controls and Ports
- Power Button (⏻): Press and hold to power on/off the device.
- Setup Button (⚙): Access the system settings menu.
- Up/EV Increase (▲): Navigate up in menus or increase exposure value.
- Down/EV Decrease (▼): Navigate down in menus or decrease exposure value.
- Photo/Video/Playback Mode (M): Switch between photo, video recording, and playback modes.

4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Battery
The device is powered by a built-in 2500mAh lithium battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery.
- Connect the USB charging cable to the USB/DC port on the camera.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to the provided power adapter and plug it into a wall outlet, or connect it to a computer's USB port.
- The charge indicator light will illuminate during charging. It will typically change color or turn off when charging is complete.
4.2. Inserting the Micro Storage Card
A Micro Storage Card (up to 32GB supported) is required to save photos and videos. An 8GB card is included.
- Locate the Micro Storage Card slot on the side of the camera.
- Insert the Micro Storage Card with the gold contacts facing down (or according to the diagram on the device) until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it clicks, then release, and it will eject.
4.3. Attaching the Tripod
For stable observation and capture, attach the included mini tripod or a professional photography tripod (not included).
- Locate the tripod mounting screw hole at the bottom of the camera unit.
- Screw the camera onto the tripod's mounting plate until secure.
- Adjust the tripod legs for desired height and stability.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
Press and hold the Power button (⏻) for a few seconds to turn the device on or off. The LCD display will illuminate.
5.2. Adjusting Focus and Magnification
The telescope offers 50X optical magnification and additional digital zoom.
- Point the telescope lens towards your desired subject.
- Rotate the Focus Adjustment Knob until the image on the 5-inch LCD display appears clear and sharp.
- Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to apply digital zoom if further magnification is desired.

5.3. Capturing Photos and Videos
The camera supports 1080P video and up to 14M photos.
- Press the Mode (M) button to switch between Photo mode and Video mode. The current mode icon will be displayed on the LCD.
- In Photo mode, press the Capture (📷) button to take a picture.
- In Video mode, press the Capture (📷) button once to start recording, and press it again to stop recording.
- All captured media will be saved to the inserted Micro Storage Card.
- The wired remote control can also be used to trigger capture. Connect it to the "Capture Remote Input" port.
5.4. Playback and Viewing Options
You can view your captured photos and videos directly on the device or connect to external displays.
5.4.1. On-Device Playback
- Press the Mode (M) button until you enter Playback mode.
- Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to navigate through your saved photos and videos.
- Press the Capture (📷) button to play a video or view a photo in full screen.
- The 5.0-inch LCD display supports 90-degree rotation for comfortable viewing angles.
5.4.2. Connecting to an External Monitor (TV Out / HD Multimedia Interface Out)
The device supports output to any monitor with TV input or HD Multimedia Interface input.
- Ensure the camera is powered off.
- Connect the appropriate cable (TV cable or HD Multimedia Interface cable, not included for HD Multimedia Interface) from the camera's output port to your TV or monitor's input port.
- Power on the camera. The display should automatically switch to the external monitor.
- Select the correct input source on your TV/monitor.
5.4.3. Connecting to a PC/Laptop
You can connect the camera to a computer to view files or transfer them.
- Connect the camera to your PC/laptop using the USB charging cable.
- The camera should appear as a removable storage device on your computer.
- You can then access the Micro Storage Card's contents to view or transfer files.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body.
- For the lens and LCD screen, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
6.2. Storage
- When not in use, store the camera in the provided storage bag and plastic case to protect it from dust and impact.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) and recharge it every few months to maintain battery health.
