Setup

1. Unpacking the Monitor

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:

• HP E22 G5 Monitor
• Monitor Stand (Base and Riser)
• Power Cable
• HDMI Cable
• USB-B to USB-A Cable (for USB hub functionality)
• Docztorm USB Port Expander

2. Assembling the Stand

1. Attach the riser to the monitor panel. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
2. Connect the base to the riser. Tighten the thumb screw on the underside of the base to secure it.

3. Connecting the Monitor

Connect the monitor to your computer using one of the available video input ports.

• HDMI Connection: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your computer and the other end to the HDMI port on the monitor.
• DisplayPort Connection: Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort on your computer and the other end to the DisplayPort on the monitor.

For USB hub functionality, connect the USB-B port on the monitor to a USB-A port on your computer using the provided USB-B to USB-A cable. This enables the monitor's USB-A ports.

4. Powering On

Connect the power cable to the monitor's AC power input and then to a wall outlet. Press the power button on the monitor to turn it on.

Operating the Monitor

On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

The monitor features an intuitive joypad OSD button for navigating the on-screen display menu. This menu allows you to adjust various settings such as brightness, contrast, color, input source, and more.

Ergonomic Adjustments

The HP E22 G5 monitor offers 4-way adjustability to enhance user comfort and productivity. Utilize the following adjustments:

• Height Adjustment: Adjust the monitor's height up to 150mm for optimal eye level.
• Tilt Adjustment: Tilt the screen from -5 degrees to +23 degrees to reduce glare and improve viewing angle.
• Swivel Adjustment: Swivel the monitor from -45 degrees to +45 degrees horizontally.
• Pivot Adjustment: Rotate the monitor 90 degrees for portrait mode viewing.

HP Eye Ease and Flicker-Free Technology

The monitor incorporates HP Eye Ease, an always-on, built-in low-blue light filter, and flicker-free technology to help reduce eye strain during extended use. These features are designed to maintain color accuracy while minimizing harmful blue light emissions.
