4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Shaving Your Face
The Philips Shaver Series 3000x is designed for both wet and dry shaving, offering flexibility for your personal preference.
Dry Shaving
- Ensure your face is clean and dry.
- Press the power button to turn on the shaver.
- Move the shaver in small, circular motions over your face, applying gentle pressure. The 4D Flex heads will adapt to your facial contours for an efficient shave.
Wet Shaving
- You can use the shaver with shaving foam, gel, or even in the shower.
- Apply your preferred shaving product to your face.
- Press the power button to turn on the shaver.
- Move the shaver in small, circular motions, applying gentle pressure. Rinse the shaving heads under running water during shaving to prevent clogging.

4.2 Using the Pop-up Trimmer
The integrated pop-up trimmer is ideal for maintaining your mustache and sideburns.
- Slide the trimmer release button upwards to activate the pop-up trimmer.
- Use the trimmer to shape and define your mustache and sideburns.
- After use, push the trimmer back down until it clicks into place.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your shaver.
5.1 Daily Cleaning
- After each shave, turn off the shaver.
- Press the 'One-touch open' button to release the shaving head unit.
- Rinse the shaving heads thoroughly under warm running water to remove hair clippings and residue.
- Shake off excess water and allow the shaving heads to air dry before closing the unit.
5.2 Blade Maintenance
The Philips Shaver Series 3000x features self-sharpening PowerCut blades designed to last up to 2 years. For continued optimal performance, it is recommended to replace the shaving heads every two years. Replacement shaving heads can be purchased from authorized Philips retailers.
