3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

3.2 Filling the Chain Oil Reservoir

3.3 Adjusting Chain Tension

- Ensure the chainsaw is unplugged from the power source.
- Locate the tensioning knob or ring on the side of the chainsaw.
- Loosen the bar clamping knob (if present) slightly.
- Turn the tensioning knob clockwise to tighten the chain or counter-clockwise to loosen it. The chain should be snug against the guide bar, but still able to be pulled freely by hand. There should be no sag on the underside of the bar.
- Once tension is correct, tighten the bar clamping knob securely.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Starting the Chainsaw
- Ensure the chain brake is disengaged (pushed back towards the front handle).

- Allow the chain to reach full speed before beginning a cut.

- Felling: For felling small trees, ensure a clear escape path. Make a notch cut on the side of the desired fall, then a felling cut from the opposite side.
- Limbing: Remove branches from a felled tree. Work from the base of the tree towards the top, cutting smaller branches first. Be aware of branches under tension.
- Bucking: Cutting a felled tree into logs. Support the log to prevent pinching the chain. Cut from the top down (overbucking) or bottom up (underbucking) depending on the log's support.

5. Maintenance
